Every month during the school year, Tzu Chi volunteers pack and distribute boxes of food items and daily necessities for needy families at participating schools in Philadelphia. As a Tzu Chi volunteer, you can sign up to help with specific distributions on specific dates based on your availability.
We are only 12 minutes from Drexel. Just take the MFL (Market–Frankford Line) from 34th St. to 8th St. and walk 2 blocks. Volunteering with Tzu Chi is a great way to connect with the local community and with other fellow volunteers like yourself. We strive to be a family for our volunteers and try to build flexibility into our schedule to accommodate everyone's changing availability.
