Job Type: Volunteer Job Summary: We are looking for a creative and passionate Social Media Volunteer to help amplify the voice and mission of our youth nonprofit organization. In this role, you will be responsible for creating and sharing compelling content across various social media platforms to engage our audience, spread awareness of our programs, and inspire action. Key Responsibilities: Develop, schedule, and publish engaging content (text, images, videos, etc.) on social media platforms. Monitor and interact with comments, messages, and mentions to build relationships with our online community. Collaborate with team members to align content with organizational goals and campaigns. Assist in brainstorming new and innovative ways to increase social media presence and engagement. Track and report on social media performance metrics to measure the impact of outreach efforts. Stay up to date with social media trends and best practices to recommend improvements.
Qualifications: Familiarity with social media platforms (e.g., Facebook, Instagram, Twitter, LinkedIn, TikTok). Strong written communication skills with an eye for detail and creativity. Basic knowledge of graphic design or video editing tools (e.g., Canva, Adobe Spark, or similar). Passion for youth empowerment and the mission of our organization. Ability to work independently and meet deadlines. Previous experience in social media management or marketing (preferred but not required).
