Job Title: Volunteer Manager Location: Hybrid - job Type: [Part-time/Volunteer]
Job Summary: This role involves assisting with volunteer recruitment, training, scheduling, and retention, as well as helping to ensure that all volunteer activities align with the mission and goals of Philly Peace in Progress.
Key Responsibilities: recruiting and onboarding new volunteers. Help plan and coordinate volunteer orientation and training sessions. Maintain and update volunteer databases and schedules. Serve as a point of contact for volunteers, addressing inquiries and concerns. Assist in organizing volunteer recognition programs and events. Help evaluate volunteer performance and gather feedback for program improvement. Collaborate with our partners to identify volunteer needs and opportunities. Ensure compliance with organizational policies and procedures for volunteers.
Qualifications: Strong organizational and time-management skills. Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities. Proficiency in [relevant software, such as Microsoft Office or database management tools]. Ability to work effectively as part of a team and independently. Experience in volunteer coordination or management (preferred but not required).
