Eastern Service Workers Association (ESWA) is a membership association of service workers, temporary workers and others who are low income, uniting to end our poverty conditions. We are 100% volunteer-run and independent of government funding. Join ESWA and learn to organize with the lowest-paid workers in our community fighting to defeat the policies that are destroying our lives and the environment.
Our weekly membership canvasses are a critical component to our organizing. We go door-to-door in low-income communities to find jobless or low-paid workers who need organization, and may need our benefits program (emergency food, clothing, utility advocacy, etc.).
