Grand Camp, a 4-week program, guides high school and middle school students to connect with older adults in their local communities and to become more active, compassionate listeners. Students will gain valuable communication and leadership skills, while building a meaningful intergenerational relationship.
The Outreach Volunteer will help to recruit school and other youth development organizations as program partners. Roles and responsibilities include:
- Develop leads and keep track of statuses of existing leads for the Grand Camp
- Reach out to local businesses in the Philly area to place flyers
- Host meetings with interested individuals
