Our Choice Market is 100% staffed by volunteers, with 100-150 individuals volunteering on a weekly basis. We require 400 hours donated by volunteers in order to operate, so a robust volunteer program is absolutely essential to the success of Feast of Justice in feeding families in the Northeast. This volunteer will work directly with our Volunteer Engagement Manager.
- Conduct follow-ups with volunteers post volunteering and survey volunteer pool of 1400+ active volunteers
- Follow up with group volunteers and organizations that participate in FOJ programs
- Manage group volunteering and improve practices to improve retention
- Event planning to boost retention, participation, and appreciation
- Communications via volunteer software, direct messaging, and social media
- Brainstorm volunteer communications advancements, as well as volunteer software efficacy
- Recruitment for long-term volunteers
- Marketing of volunteer programs and Feast of Justice community
