To start the school year off right, Cramp School is giving out backpacks filled with school supplies to each of our 500 students! However, we need some volunteers who can help us give out the backpacks. Come get some experience in helping out at a public school and helping needy families. The event will take place on August 24th from 11am-3pm.
We'll need volunteers who can stand behind a table and give out backpacks for a few hours. Some light lifting also needed as we set up folding tables and chairs. The event will be outside and masks and gloves will be provided.
Volunteers should show up at 11am for event set up, from 12pm-2pm for the actual event and from 2pm-3pm for event breakdown.
Volunteer duties would include:
- Setting up and breaking down folding tables
- Setting up folding chairs
- Putting backpacks on tables
- Giving out backpacks to families
- Asking families to fill out the sign-in sheet
