Whom is my volunteer work helping?
Our volunteer opportunities help people with disabilities, seniors, and any Philadelphian that's experiencing food insecurity. Our programs ensure that food reaches some of the most vulnerable populations in Philadelphia.
What are the requirements?
- Volunteers are responsible for arriving on time for their shifts.
- Some opportunities have age restrictions. Please read each opportunity carefully and thoroughly.
- You must be able to lift at least 30lbs.
- When volunteering on-site you MUST wear closed-toe shoes, no sandals, heels, flip-flops, or exposed feet.
- Due to COVID-19 federal guidelines, you must wear a mask on-site.
Home Delivery Drivers - Use your car to help deliver boxes of nutritious food to local seniors facing food insecurity. ONLY the driver needs to register for this opportunity, NOT the drivers’ helper. (70 spots available)
Share Callers (Remote Opportunity) - Make phone calls to low-income seniors, confirming upcoming contact-free food deliveries. (40 spots available)
Caravan Packer - Help us pack boxes into cars that are making home deliveries participating in our Senior Food Box Program, which delivers boxes of nutritious food right to the doorsteps of local seniors facing food insecurity! (7 spots available)
Warehouse Packing - Work on a line to help pack boxes of nutritious food for local seniors facing food insecurity. (17 spots available)
