In August 2025, the project’s technical conveners sat with Chris Alfano of Jarvus Innovations for an informal virtual discussion on how to build an open source tech project. Technical conveners Ron, Gabe, and Aaron shared their experiences, lessons learned, and more. The team is looking to use the ~1.5 hours of recorded content in any of the following ways:
- Long-form video: long-form video for YouTube and Facebook
- Long-form audio: podcast-style edit to enhance audio
- Short-form video: mini clips that would be good as social media stories
- Creative splicing: creative ways to group content and show themes; can include supplemental content
Ultimately we need content from this recording that can be used across social media. This is a great opportunity for anyone who wants to gain experience with creative editing of video content!
This call-to-action represents the PHLASK team’s envisioned goal. The development and execution of the final product will inevitably reflect the volunteers’ own ideas & input.
