Workforce Support Leader – AmeriCorps Member (Abbreviated 100 Hours)

Description

This  AmeriCorps position is designed for returning Drexel AmeriCorps Co-op alumni who wish to continue serving in workforce development, career readiness, and/or digital access programs. Members build on prior service experience to strengthen host site programming, mentor current Co-op members, and further develop leadership skills.

Members may:

  • Support workforce development, career readiness, or digital access initiatives
  • Serve as a peer mentor and program resource to current AmeriCorps members (without supervising or recruiting members)
  • Assist with or help lead monthly meetings, service activities, and special events
  • Contribute to program enhancement through outreach, resource development, and participant engagement
  • Participate in required AmeriCorps trainings, reflection activities, and professional development sessions

This position does not include supervision of members or recruitment responsibilities. Members serve in compliance with AmeriCorps regulations and program guidelines.

Term of Service: Abbreviated Time (approximately 100 hours)
Schedule: Flexible, part-time service schedule
Education Award: Eligible for the Segal AmeriCorps Education Award upon successful completion
