Tuesday’s Children is a nonprofit organization dedicated to supporting individuals and families whose lives have been forever changed by terrorism, military conflict, mass violence, or traumatic loss. Founded in the aftermath of 9/11, we’ve grown to serve a wide range of communities affected by tragedy—including post-9/11 military families and Gold Star families. Our work is rooted in long-term healing, resilience, and community connection.
What We Do
Tuesday’s Children empowers young people impacted by trauma and loss through healing programs, career development, and leadership-building opportunities. Our Career Resource Center (CRC) focuses on young adults ages 18–30, providing mentorship, life skills, networking support, and purpose-driven growth. Volunteers—like Drexel students—can support this mission by contributing to event planning, career workshops, and community-building activities, gaining hands-on experience in nonprofit work and trauma-informed service along the way.
