Who We Are
Open Door Christian Community is an ecumenical Christian group on campus that is based out of the Wesley Foundation of the City of Philadelphia (a United Methodist organization). We seek to build community and feed the hungry (physically, emotionally, and spiritually). People of any faith or no faith are welcome to participate in our events, dinners, and opportunities for service.
What We Do
Open Door provides a free weekly meal to the Drexel community on Wednesday nights because we don't want people to go hungry. We also focus on opportunities for community service. We are excited in 2024 to begin intentional events focusing on social justice conversations from a faith perspective with possibilities to engage further following the event.
