Asylum Pride House

Asylum Pride House is a Philadelphia based 501(c)3 organization founded in 2022. Our mission is to provide housing and necessary initial resources to LGBTQ+ asylum seekers. We envision a world where all LGBTQ+ asylum seekers are welcomed, supported, and affirmed as their most authentic selves.
Asylum Pride House runs a long-term housing program located in University City. LGBTQIA+ asylum seekers are eligible for Asylum Pride House programming from the moment they enter the U.S. to three months after they receive their work permits. While LGBTQIA+ asylum seekers are placed in housing, they are also connected to critical resources through our case management program. Some common referrals include: Legal, Food Banks, Clothing Drives, Physical and Mental Health, ESL, Career Development, and LGBTQIA+ Community Programs.
