Fields of DREAMS5

The mission of Fields of D.R.E.A.M.S is to provide mentorship to at-risk youth in Philadelphia by empowering them to make improvements in academic performance, self-esteem, social interactions, and the avoidance of high-risk behaviors, by acting as a conduit through which they can achieve their dreams of success. The vision: Fields of D.R.E.A.M.S.5 is encouraged and inspired to help develop the next generation of leaders in Philadelphia. With the help of our program, we would like to see an increase in the number of minority students that participate in introductory career development programs before high school, provide access to GED services for the parents and mentees, and develop a bridge to college and the professional world.

Through mentorship, we will teach our at-risk youth how to solve conflict without resorting to violence or anger by provided workshops that are geared toward problem solving, conflict resolution, career development, and life skills.
