Who We Are
Palms Solutions is a 501 C (3) non-profit organization that aims to transform the lives of the African immigrants and their host city, by fostering cultural, social, and economic partnerships, that put communities on a self-determined path to educational, housing and health equity breakthroughs. Our programs are designed to both provide our host country with crucial comprehension tools to understand the complexity of the immigrants we represent, and help our constituents get an extensive grasp of their host country’s business trends, culture, politics, society, religion, and media.
By facilitating meaningful connections, we hope to show both African immigrants and their host city that they are stronger together. We aim to challenge perceptions and deconstruct stereotypes. With our support, we empower our partners to become better informed stakeholders, and to develop cross-cultural business partnerships.
What We Do
Motivate Community Ownership
We partner with leaders, organizations, and all stakeholders committed to social change, social justice, and health equity, as well as housing improvement and affordability. Community ownership and participation play vital roles in any initiatives we undertake.
Build Bridges
We relentlessly build a network of students, professionals, and passionate advocates for our community-based partners to access. We connect this network of assets and volunteers with the work of our partners through seminars and forums, and the Data Management Network (DMN).
Build Capacity
We create a forum where all stakeholders can learn from each other and strengthen each other’s skills, competencies, and the abilities of the leaders at all levels of partnerships.
Change Perspectives
We promote cultural exchange and sensitivity, encouraging a reflective approach to navigating cross-cultural issues, confusions, and tensions.
