Who We Are

TechServ is a student organization at Drexel University, founded in March 2002. We are comprised of students of all majors and are all volunteers. All Drexel students are welcome to join TechServ, regardless of prior technical knowledge. Our mission is to help bridge the Digital Divide in the Philadelphia area, which we primarily do by refurbishing computers and donating them to non-profit organizations and individuals in need. Our other activities include genius bars where we provide free technical support for the greater community, hosting student organization websites, and organizing fun events throughout the year.

All that is needed to participate is to join us here on DragonLink and just show up at any of our meetings or events!

Please check out our website for more information. In particular, the "Meetings" section is updated with each term's new meeting times, and has a map to our location.

Join us on Discord to get the latest announcements and information.

What We Do

We refurbish old computers with new hardware and software then donate them to people in need. To support this, we also maintain our own imaging server as well as a web server to host our website along with websites for other student organizations.
