Team Foster

Founded in honor of Captain Erick Foster (KIA), Team Foster is dedicated to honoring Erick's legacy of pushing himself harder and taking care of his teammates. Our mission: No Hero Left Behind. 

Team Foster raises money to obtain, train and provide service dogs to injured and disabled Veterans at no cost to the Veteran.

22 Veterans and service members lose the battle to suicide every day. Service dogs are an effective, scientifically proven rehabilitation tool. More to the point, service dogs save lives.

Just one service accredited service dog takes two years and costs more than $25,000 to train. Unfortunately, there are no federal programs or insurance coverage for service dogs - and the VA is woefully lacking. Team Foster fills this gap by partnering with qualified service dog trainers to get Veterans the dogs they need. Together, we help a Veteran back from the brink and onto the path to recovery.

Team Foster hosts a number of fundraising events in the Philadelphia and Pittsburgh area with plans to expand regionally and nationally.

Ranging from a 100-mile cycling event and a 24-hour team spin relay to a puppy-kissing booth fundraiser, Team Foster tries to reach as many people as possible while honoring Captain Erick Foster's legacy.
