Who We Are
The Chester County Intermediate Unit is a dynamic educational service agency providing quality, innovative and cost-effective programs and services to enhance the lives of students, educators and members of our communities in Chester County and beyond.
As a grantee of the Pennsylvania Migrant Education Program, we provide education support services to migratory children living in Chester, Delaware, Montgomery, Bucks, and Philadelphia counties.
What We Do
The Chester County Intermediate Unit provides services to the 12 school districts in Chester County and beyond. Our Migrant Education Program provides education supports to students ages 0-22 and their families who have moved in the last three years and are migratory agricultural workers.
The Migrant Education program strives to ensure that migrant students receive excellent educational services to develop to their fullest potential and overcome any obstacles posed by frequent moves to accommodate their parents' search for employment in the agricultural sector.
