Lindy Center for Civic Engagement

The Lindy Center for Civic Engagement at Drexel University fosters a culture of civic responsibility by providing programs and resources that empower Drexel students and the broader university community to expand their civic identities through engagement in mutually-beneficial partnerships that lead to a more just society.

The Lindy Center provides education, engagement, and reflection opportunities for students, staff, and faculty to help them advance their understanding of social issues, build relationships with their communities, and become agents of social change for a more just world. We host workshops and discussions regularly, student leadership programs such as Drexel Community Scholars, faculty trainings in Community-Based Learning Pedagogy, and other programs to engage the Drexel community in our work. We also support civic engagement and community engagement efforts around campus, including Community-Based Learning courses, engaged research, student organization service and civic leadership development, and more.
