A few volunteers are also needed during the second shift each week to help operate our food pantry on site during the meal. There is a wide variety of different needs that you could help us with depending on your interests, such as assisting with our food sourcing efforts, weekly free hot meal service, two food pantries, community resources, volunteer coordination, marketing and social media, grants and fundraising, accounting, and more! We hope that this can be an opportunity for students to gain practical skills and knowledge about non-profit operations and food justice work in whatever capacity is interesting to you and fits your skills.
