We are looking to fill this position for Summer 2025 (May-August) and Fall 2025 (August-December).
Legal Aid of Southeastern is looking for an intern for 5-15 hours per week to assist the criminal record clearing team as they work to ensure that expungement and limited access orders are correctly implemented so that we can be certain that expunged information no longer comes up on our client’s background checks. This work is vital to allow clients to realize the benefits of a second chance. Interns will get to review court orders and work with law enforcement and court agencies to ensure compliance with the order.
The skills we are looking for are basic knowledge of the Pennsylvania court structure and customer service or call center experience. The skills interns will develop are record keeping, time tracking, client file management, negotiation, and communication with diverse stakeholders.
