The Philadelphia Furniture Bank is a program of Pathways to Housing PA that provides used furniture to people coming out of homelessness.
Personal shoppers help people to select furniture that will be going into their home. Personal Shoppers will meet with clients first to learn their needs, number of family members, and size of the home to ensure a successful shopping experience. Then the Personal shopper will go through the warehouse, help determine which furniture the client wants and is appropriate for their size home and tag it for delivery. They can offer advice, but must stick with the guidelines that are determined per family size. Personal shoppers also may coordinate the delivery schedule of items from warehouse to client’s home.
