In Your Neighborhood is a free mobile program of JFCS that provides those in need across our city with the basic necessities of food and clothing. The In Your Neighborhood bus visits host sites in lower-income neighborhoods with fresh, healthy produce and pantry staples, a mini-pop-up clothing shop, and help with access to other services and benefits.
All in need are eligible for In Your Neighborhood and are welcome to join us.
Volunteers will arrive at the Dornsife Center for Neighborhood Partnerships 3509 Spring Garden St, Philadelphia, PA 19104 at 10:30 am to unload the OC bus and set up for our In Your Neighborhood event, which opens at 11:30 am. Volunteers will run registration and check out, as well as act as sales associates at our free clothing shop and Farmers' Market stand. At 1:30, we will carefully pack up and head home by 2:00 Volunteers must be vaccinated and wear masks. A warm and friendly attitude is a must. We will set up outside unless weather is severe, so dress appropriately! The school has an indoor location for us in case of inclement weather. Some lifting of bins and tables is required
