Includes working by phone and on a computer providing referrals, advocacy, recommendations, etc. Volunteers may choose to work remotely using own phone and Internet or from the Red Cross House, our facility at 40th & Powelton in West Philadelphia -- JUST BLOCKS FROM CAMPUS -- where disaster clients and their families are offered free temporary housing. Responsibilities: Conducting intake, interviewing clients, and opening cases, as necessary. Participating in HFC projects, preparedness activities, and meetings.
