The On Deck Circle

TODC is a nonprofit organization whose mission is to provide support and programming for underserved communities and community organizations in order to engage all kids of varying abilities and levels of experience in baseball/softball to foster personal growth, build character, and instill valuable life skills.

Through an assessment process, TODC has determined that there is a need in underserved communities in the Philadelphia area for active, wholesome recreational opportunities for at-risk youth that offer structured and supervised social activities, foster the building of life skills, encourage the adoption of healthy choices, and enhance quality of life for participants. Baseball provides foundational learning experiences that young athletes can leverage for success throughout their lives. The opportunity to experience baseball in our inner cities is becoming less and less and we want to change the pattern so our youth in underserved communities can develop tools for success.
