Who We Are

MISSION: Our mission is to assist in the building up of our community by combating hunger insecurities by attacking it at it core (poverty) regardless of age, sex, religion, etc. Our approach to building this plan is by dealing with the whole person/family and addressing the different facets that may have led to such insecurities while building lasting relationships. At Joy Blossoms Daily Bread, we believe in having an attitude of gratitude," because you allowed us to serve you!

What We Do

  1. In Dec. of 2017, we served Christmas Dinner to the Southwest Philadelphia community feeding over 100 people.  We also provided toys to children ranging in ages from infant- 13 years old. We provided women, men, and children clothes, coats, and shoes. We also offered non-perishable food items.
  2. In Apr. 2017, we also served an Easter Dinner to 120 men at the Outley House Shelter.
  3. Throughout 2018, we assisted another church as they carried out their feedings of homeless individuals at The Life Center- Eastern Delaware;  during their dining services, they fed their clients as well as the community,  so every feeding their numbers would stagger between 50- 95 people being fed every time.
