Who We Are
Drexel Phi Sig's story starts in 1913, when 10 progressive young women started Phi Sigma Sigma in New York City as the first cutting edge, empowered, and internationally recognized women’s philanthropy. More than 100 years later, Phi Sigma Sigma still supports young women across the globe to become dynamic, principled, passionate young leaders.
But that’s not where our story ends, in fact, that’s just where it starts for us. As a chapter of over 100 members, Beta Rho has 100 different stories, 100 different backgrounds, and 100 different women to make us whole.
We don’t believe in fitting a cookie cutter mold, but we don’t define ourselves by our differences. Our belief in the idea that our differences are what makes us Beta Rho, is the belief that pushes our chapter forward.
We believe in the power of our differences. We believe in the power of diversity. It’s our bond that bridges the gap between our backgrounds, religions, cultures, and viewpoints—so we can come together to make a difference in the lives of others. Beta Rho allows us to think differently, together, but with the comfort to know someone is always standing by your side.
Why fit in? You were born to stand out.
