Who We Are

Calm Clarity's mission is to improve collective well-being and develop inclusive leaders. We guide and support people to rewire their brain and embrace their inner wisdom to improve their lives and their communities.

Our non-profit initiatives enable people in challenging circumstances to manage stress and anxiety, understand and heal trauma, and make a positive impact on their families and communities. We also share a neuroscience-based approach to building skills to deconstruct and counteract unconscious bias and develop inclusive leadership.

We are addressing disparities in mental health impacting low-income communities and communities of color by expanding access to our programs and resources.

What We Do

Since 2013, we have delivered our high quality training in economically disadvantaged communities to help people build life skills and leadership abilities that they find empowering, valuable, and practical. To date, our initiatives have helped over 5,000 people.

As the pandemic exacerbated disparities in mental health and well-being experienced by people of color and low-income communities, we decided to make Calm Clarity training and resources more widely accessible using technology. Launched in late 2020, our free online course, “A Mind-Hacker’s Toolkit to Calm Anxiety,” has enabled a thousand people around the world to learn tools to calm anxiety.

We are now using this course to build a Peer Mentoring and Support Group program. Our first pilot involves training college students at Drexel to serve as Peer Mentors and build and run a Peer Support Program to improve well-being and mental health.
