Student Led Initiatives 

Student led initiatives such as Greek life, student organizations, and student groups play a pivotal role in fostering civic engagement opportunities for Drexel students. These organizations allow students to have an impact outside of the classroom by connecting with the local Philadelphia community, enabling leadership skills, social responsibility, and a sense of belonging.

Many fraternities and sororities on campus have philanthropic efforts that involve community service projects, fundraising events, and awareness campaigns all of which promote the importance of developing a strong civic identity. Student led organizations also cater to specific interests that are centered around improving student learning experiences, voicing their passions and engaging in activities that advocate for change.

Greek Life

Greek Life at Drexel has a rich 120-year history of providing opportunities for students with similar interests to connect with one another. The Fraternity and Sorority Life at Drexel serves over 30 recognized Greek-letter organizations, which encompass over 1,700 undergraduate students as well as thousands of alumni. Many of these organizations on campus have a commitment to serve the community as one of their main pillars, with philanthropic events present year-round.
